Does anyone use the sport 60 by tri-tronics. I need a new set. I like the clasic 70, but the small transmitter with the 60's appeals to me. Need feed back.

You may want to consider the Dogtra Collars. I got mine about three weeks ago and love them. Reach out 1 mile work great and the transmiter is small.

I have my dogs working where and when I want. They come when I call and can be stoped when needed. I have some Intech collars and the Dogtras are so much better.......Harvey

I have the 4 dog Dogtra unit. This is the most that Dogtra has at this time . If you need more, Tritronics has a 6 Dog System for just over $1000. I have a 2 dog Inotec Set that I also carry. I put those on dogs that almost never needs corection. One is on my best hound that will somtimes try to back track. All I have to do is give her a touch call her name and she knows what she is doing wrong and gets back on the right end of the track. The 4 dogs wearing the new Dogtra Collars pay close attetion when I call there name. I love these collars. I can make them hounds do any thing I could if I had them at my side on a leash.....

OK now I will need to get 2 extra jobs to getcollars i want.LOL

Do you know what the reason is for a dog to backtract every time it picks up on a trail?

I have one gyp that seems to always start the cold side first. It dosent bother me that she goes backwards but when the rest of the pack honors her it makes for a slow start. Now its only cold trails she does this on not hot ones.
