Poll Question:
In an effort to address concerns about transporting creel limits of fish the Commission on Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, at their February 21, 2006 meeting adopted the following Public Notice of Intent. Persons wishing to comment on this proposed action may do so in writing to the Executive Director, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, 1505 Eastover Drive, Jackson, MS 39211 no later than March 21, 2006.

"No person shall take in any one calendar day, no more than the daily creel or bag limit of game fish. No person shall at any time, by any means, or in any manner, transport more than seven (7) daily creel or bag limits of game fish for each person present in a vehicle. A single angler may only transport his or her own limit(s) of game fish not to exceed seven (7) daily limits."

Choices:

I am in favor of this regulation
I am not in favor of this regulation
This regulation will discourage nonresidents from fishing in MS
This regulation is unenforceable
This regulation will prevent nonresidents from violating the daily creel limits
I oppose this regulation because 7 daily limits is too much

Perhaps you could clarify "creel limits"

Is a creel a type of fish or a legal term...

Also, is this similiar to bag limits and daily limist on game...ie, a person may shoot 15 doves per day, but not be in posession of more than 30 at any one time....

Just asking....thanks..

What the GW needs to do is to drive through all the campgrounds surrounding Grenada lake and check the miniture deep freezers that people from out of state bring and fill up with crappie only to take it back up north and sell it for $3.00 + a lb where it is perfectly legal.
