Did any of you guys hear about the gator that was ran over yesterday on Old Taylor Rd? My buddy called and was all excited about. It was a friend of his and he told me he had up at the square, showing it off. I told him he'd better hang up quick and call his friend and tell him to call a game warden, pronto. I assume he wouldn't like the outcome if he was caught with it.

Just wondering, what is the deal with that?

Oh well, I guess it's ok to run over a gator, throw it in the car and ride around showing it off.

Any ideas on the size? Any remember, there's never just 1.

So is every hunter out looking for gators?

I missed that. You would think there would have been something about it in our daily paper. I have seen few three to four footers around Sardis but I never told anyone because they would say I was crazy.

I've only seen one around here. It was just upriver from the county line bridge and it was all of 12 ft.

My buddy said he took it to the Humane Society and they called someone.
