- Facilities Maint Supt - (Hancock County)

This is supervisory and administrative work in coordination and
direction of supervisory facility maintenance personnel. Duties
include development of comprehensive budget recommendations on
assigned departmental operations, coordination and review of
directed supervisory work projects, and implementation of new
policies and procedures for maximization of labor and materials.
Incumbents should have a comprehensive working knowledge of the
work that their subordinates perform. Supervision is received from
an administrative superior, and is exercised over lower-level
Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED
or High School Equivalency Diploma).
Seven (7) years of experience related to the above described
duties, one (1) of which must have been as a Facilities Maintenance
Manager or the equivalent in at least one of the following fields:
plumbing, carpentry, electrical works, electronics, plastering,
painting, air conditioning/refrigeration, heating equipment, or
general maintenance and repair.
