We have several youth fishing rodeos scheduled at lakes and ponds across Mississippi. MDWFP youth fishing rodeos are held Saturday mornings and are a great opportunity for families to spend quality time together in the great outdoors. Each of these rodeos will have MDWFP fisheries biologists and technical staff present to provide fishing education, guidance, and technical information.
June 1
- Clarksdale, Coahoma County Fairgrounds 10:30 a.m.
- Canton, Katfishin’ Kids at Turcotte 6:30 a.m.
- Forrest, Marathon Lake at Bienville National Forest 8 a.m.
June 8
- Philadelphia, Neshoba Lake 7 a.m.
June 15
- Houston, American Legion Lake 7:30 a.m.
- Oxford, Lake Puskus 7 a.m.
- Grenada, Grenada Lake 8 a.m.
June 22
- Magee, Simpson County Lake 7:30 a.m.
June 29
- Quitman, Clarkco State Park 8 a.m.
