JACKSON – Heavy rainfall during the month of November resulted in extensive flooding in the south Delta.  As a result, Mahannah Wildlife Management Area (WMA) was closed on November 18, 2018 to public access and use.   Mahannah WMA will be open to public access December 5, 2018 and permitted deer hunts December 6, 2018.  Visitors are urged to use caution while visiting Mahannah WMA, or any WMA, after flood events as roadways, trail conditions, and low water crossings could be damaged or weakened.
