JACKSON – Heavy rainfall has resulted in extensive flooding in the south Delta region of Mississippi. Effective November 18, 2018, Mahannah Wildlife Management Area (WMA) will be closed to public access except for waterfowl hunting. After the November 17 youth waterfowl day, all waterfowl hunts are by permit only.

The CWD drop-off location at Mahannah is still accessible.
