SPEAKER: George Phillips, Paleontology Curator, MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science
George will discuss the role that the museum's Paleontology program has played in MDWFP operations since the inception of the program 41 years ago, with respect to research, collections, in-house education, and outreach.
Learn about the history of the program's creation, past curators and their contributions, and how the fossil collection is utilized.
George will also share details about current research on MMNS fossil holdings, including recent publications.
