On July 16th from 10 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., join us on the museum’s Facebook Page to learn more about a few of your favorite reptiles through:

  • an informative lecture about venomous and non-venomous snakes
  • a special “snake day” craft for the kids to make at home
  • a Facebook LIVE question and answer session with snake expert Terry Vandeventer
  • an exploration of the museum’s snake collections, and
  • an Eastern Indigo Snake Creature Feature.

See below for the schedule of times and activities for this virtual event. The event will include four pre-recorded videos (including a craft activity) that will be released throughout the day and one Facebook LIVE question and answer session.

Can’t join us in real-time? No worries, all of the videos and downloads will be saved to our Facebook Page for you to watch later. You will still be able to ask your questions in the comments and we will respond to you.

Don’t let this virtual event slither by! Plan to join us online for this fun exploration of snakes. Then, make your reservation to visit the museum soon after to see our resident reptiles on exhibit.
