Big feathery fun and special activities for all ages!
Examine turkey feathers under a microscope, make your own turkey headband, investigate "egg-cellent" egg anatomy, and learn what these gobblers eat for lunch!
Plus, we'll have a special “career spotlight” stationAdam Butler, Wild Turkey Programs Coordinator for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. His field work is part of a joint MDWFP-Mississippi State University research project investigating turkey movements and habitat use.
Krissy Hamilton will also join us and you can touch a turkey and meet Clarissa, the turkey vulture from Freedom Ranch Wildlife Education!
FREE with museum admission. $6.00 for adults $4.00 for children ages 3 and up. Under 3 are FREE. Museum members are FREE.
