Making a Data Request

To request data, write to the address below stating your data needs and include the following information:

• Name and address of user or organization
• Type of data needed
• Copy of USGS quad with exact boundaries of the area of concern
• Explanation of how the information will be used

Response Time

Data requests are processed in the order in which they are received. The response time depends on the backlog at the time your request is received; however, the average request time is 14 working days. Due to the number of attachments, we cannot always fax results. If you would like to have your response package returned by Federal Express (or other shipper), please include the necessary forms and account number with your request.

Fees

Fees are charged to cover the cost of providing data services. Requests will be charged at $30 / quad. A bill will be sent with the request response and payment should be made by check or money order payable to "Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks." A fee estimate can be given prior to initiating a search. Send data requests to:
