Saturday May 05, 2012 2:00 p.m.
Location: North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education CenterCounty: Yalobusha
Humans are the number one predator for fish, but they are not the only predator. In Mississippi there are many different animals that feed on fish. The Visitor Education Center’s Fish Predators Program gives young people the opportunity to learn about fish higher in the food chain that prey on other fish lower in the food chain. This program also identifies some reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals whose diets consist primarily of fish. Participants will get the opportunity to see tracks, claws, teeth, skulls, and much more! The program is free with the cost of admission. If you have any questions call the Visitor Education Center at (662) 563 - 8068.
