NMFH Jig Tying Program

Records are made to be broken, and crappie records are no exception! Anglers across Mississippi are trying to break the records using different types of lures, including their own hand-tied jigs. On Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. crappie anglers have another chance to join Gwin Jackson at the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with this local, jig-tying expert and see the jigs’ creation from hook to final product. Program is free with the price of admission.
