WOW! Wonders of Wetlands Teacher's Workshop

The WOW teacher’s workshop will be held at the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center on Saturday April 28, 2012 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Teachers, bring a bag lunch and participate in this day-long event! WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands is a valuable resource for teachers, which builds respect and environmental appreciation among students through participation in engaging wetland activities. Teachers of all subjects and grade levels are invited to come join the fun and learning! This WOW! workshop (including CEU’s) is FREE for teachers who live or work in the following counties: Yalobusha, Coahoma, DeSoto, Grenada, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, and Tunica. For all others, there is a $15.00 registration fee for the workshop. Participants can earn .6 CEU credits from Mississippi College for an additional $10.00. Participants receive the WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands Activity Guide.
