VEC to Host Fish Predators Programs March 14 - 17
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife,
Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) Visitor Education Center (VEC)
adjacent to Enid Lake will host Feathered Fish Predators programs
March 14 - 17 at 2:00 p.m.
These programs will give youth the opportunity to learn about
Enid Lake birds that feed on fish. Participants will learn about
ospreys, pelicans, green herons, blue herons and more. Replica
skulls, eggs, and talons of some of these predators will be
available for youth to handle during the program.
The program is free with the price of admission. Admission is
$2.50 for adults ages 18-59, and $2.00 for youth ages 3-17 and
adults over the age of 60. For additional information, call the VEC

The VEC is part of the MDWFP North Mississippi Fish Hatchery and
is located at Exit 233 east off I-55.
