As we enter the 4th of July holiday weekend, many boaters will take to Mississippi’s public waters to enjoy time with family and friends; however, boaters on tributaries, lakes, and other waterways affected by high water of the Mississippi River shall conduct their boating activity in accordance with a “DEAD SLOW, NO WAKE” standard.

No lakes or rivers have been officially closed by MDWFP.
