JACKSON – Small game seasons have re-opened on Shipland, Lake George, and Sunflower WMAs. Earlier this year, heavy rainfall resulted in extensive flooding and subsequent closure of hunting seasons on south Delta WMAs.
MDWFP encourages hunters to take a youth afield to enjoy the many late-season small game opportunities available on WMAs across the state.
