JACKSON – Heavy rainfall during the month of February resulted in extensive flooding in the south Delta region of Mississippi.  As a result, the following Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) were closed to public access and use: Mahannah, Riverfront, Shipland, and Twin Oaks.  Effective June 18, 2018, these WMAs are re-opened to public access and use.
