You’ve heard of Miss Baker, the squirrel monkey that took a flight to space on the Jupiter rocket.
But, have you heard about Hector, the rat? What about the fish, frogs, spiders, and insects that have made the great journey from our planet?
Join us for this informative Fun Friday where we learn about some of the earliest astronauts that prepared man for successful journeys into space!
This mini-event has hands-on experiences and demonstrations suitable for families or groups with children ages 4 and up, and is included with museum admission or MS Museum of Natural Science Foundation Membership.
Fun Fridays are from 10 a.m. - Noon in June and July.
Explore the "Space: A Journey to Our Future" Exhibit, too!
