Our next week of workshops will be held at MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson, MS from July 22-26, 2019. Each workshop provides up to 0.6 CEUs. Cost is $25/workshop, plus $10/workshop for CEUs from Mississippi College.

WORKSHOP TITLE: Getting Little Feet Wet/Bayou Town Productions

COST: $25.00 non-refundable pre-registration fee, $10.00 cash or check payable to Mississippi College for CEUs on the day of the workshop
DESCRIPTION: We are partnering with Bayou Town Productions to offer a joint teacher workshop focused on Water Education. From 9:00am-noon, MDWFP's Museum of Natural Science Staff will teach "Getting Little Feet Wet" a curriculum designed with lessons created specifically for young children that allow them to explore science by learning about water in our bodies, our environment, and our society. After a 30 minute on-site lunch break, Bayou Town Productions will present their teacher education program sponsored by Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality.
OF NOTE: Please bring your lunch and a reusable water bottle. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather as we may be on the museum’s trails for a few activities.
