Shadow Lake

Shadow Lake
Roosevelt State Park features Shadow Lake a 150 acre freshwater lake offering fishing and water sports. A map depicting the depths of the lake is available at the below link.

Fishing
Year round fishing is permitted. The lake is stocked with bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. Shadow Lake is checked yearly by biologists for restocking needs. Fertilization and other enhancements to the lake are also performed yearly as deemed necessary by department biologists.

A Mississippi fishing license is required for all people between the ages of 16 and 65. License may be purchased at the park office for a nominal fee.

Boating
A boat launch and paved trailer parking area is located at the southeast end of the lake. A nominal fee is required for use of the boat launch. Daily or annual permits are available.

Pleasure boating, skiing, tubing, and jet skis are allowed from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day from 10:00AM until 7:00PM. All other times and dates are idle speed only (no wake zone).
