Pascagoula River Clean-Up

Join us for a morning of conservation on Mississippi’s treasured Pascagoula River!

Help us protect our natural resources by paddling out and picking up litter along the scenic Pascagoula River. Whether you're boating, kayaking, or canoeing, all are welcome to participate in this community-wide river clean-up effort.

Event Check-In & Trash Drop-Off Location:
Cumbest Bluff Boat Launch, 2500 Dogwood Lane, Moss Point, MS 39562
(Launch fee waived for participants)

Important Notes:

  • A signed waiver form and boating safety checklist are required to participate — both available on site.
  • Check-in is mandatory before collecting any trash. You may launch from any ramp but must check in at Cumbest Bluff first.
  • Participants may launch from any public ramp, but must check in at Cumbest Bluff Boat Launch before getting on the water.

What’s Provided:

  • Trash bags and dumpsters courtesy of Jackson County
  • Assistance with large item removal provided by MDWFP staff
  • Extra trash bags and on-water support from MDWFP staff

What to Bring:

  • Your own water and snacks
  • Personal kayak, canoe, or small watercraft
  • Dress appropriately for the weather and water
