"From Classroom to Creek: Exploring Water with Project WET" is a two-day, hands-on teacher workshop that takes learning beyond the classroom and into the natural world. Each participant will receive a Project WET activity guide and 1.0 CEU available upon completion.
Through engaging Project WET activities, educators will explore how water shapes ecosystems, supports life, and connects communities - all while getting a chance to learn outside with museum educators and biologists!
Teachers will learn how to use the resources right outside their schools to bring water education to life.
This workshop emphasizes helping students make real-world connections to water, whether they live near a lake, pond, stream or ditch.
By the end of the workshop, teachers will leave equipped with ready-to-use lessons, outdoor teaching strategies, and renewed confidence to turn nearby water sources into meaningful learning experiences for their students.
