Fishing Report
Lake Lowndes - 5/13/2024 9:12:46 AMSpecies | Detail
Largemouth Bass | Bass fishing has slowed recently. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and T-rigged soft plastics are all good choices. Don't overlook the early morning/late evening topwater bite.
Crappie | The crappie bite is slow. Jigs or jig/minnow combinations will be the best bait choices.
Bream | Bream fishing is fair to good. Tightlining redworms, nightcrawlers, or mealworms works well, as do crickets.
Catfish | Target the creek channel and around the deeper points with night crawlers, cut shad, and/or liver. Tight lining is the most popular technique for catfish. |
