Largemouth Bass | Bass fishing is fair with anglers catching good numbers of fish less than 3 pounds. | |
Crappie | Crappie fishing has been poor with few reports. Try targeting crappie along the edges of the creek channels and the rip rap with minnows or hair jigs. | |
Bream | Bream fishing has been spoor with a with only small ones being caught. Try bream fishing around the vegetation and woody cover. | |
Catfish | Catfishing has been fair with some being caught during the afternoons. Try tightlining Kool-Aid-soaked chicken or livers. |

- Only rod and reel or pole fishing is allowed on State Fishing Lakes except that carp, gar, buffalo, and bowfin may be taken by use of bow and arrow at night only after purchasing a valid permit for fishing and/or boating. No other gear is allowed at these lakes.
- Fishing is not allowed from courtesy piers adjacent to boat ramps. Night fishing is allowed from the bank or boats which are in compliance with state and coast guard regulations.
