EVENT OVERVIEW

Bring your family to ring in the New Year, before the Permian Monsters" Life Before the Dinosaurs exhibit goes extinct!

  • Win prizes as we ring in the “New Year” at 8 p.m. with a 1,000-balloon drop! (*see below)
  • Dress to impress in your best glow/black light-reactive outfit
  • Meet a LIVE nocturnal animal
  • Enjoy refreshments
  • Snap a picture in our 2024 photo booth
  • Participate in the experiment station
  • Challenge yourself in the obstacle course game in the Rotwein Theater
  • Travel back in time on the outdoor Dinosaur Trail (weather permitting)
  • Play fun glow games and enjoy bowling, hopscotch, and more!

* Prizes include candy, trinkets, and animal posters. Grand prizes include a one-year Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation (MMNSF) Family Membership and a museum swag bag!

The Coffee Pop Up, Dad’s Dogs, and Snap Happy Face Painting will be here, too (not included with ticket).

COST

MMNSF MEMBERS: $10 per person for ages 3 & up and includes the bulleted items above. Ages 2 and under are Free.

NON-MEMBERS: $12 per person for ages 3 & up and includes the bulleted items above. Ages 2 and under are Free.
