- JULY 2: BROWNIE BUGS (2 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
- SEPTEMBER 17: SENIOR SCOUT'S ECO EXPLORER (1 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
Join us Sunday at the Museum as we work on the Senior Scout’s Eco Explorer badge! This workshop will feature an introduction to a live animal, nature trail exploration, and an interview with one of the Museum’s Conservationists.
Through hands-on activities and games, we will explore the incredible biodiversity of MS (both past and present) and the environmental issues that affect some of our key species.
Cost: The workshop is $15 per Scout. Parents and siblings are regular admission to be paid at the door. - OCTOBER 21: UP ALL NIGHT (SPECIALTY PATCH WORKSHOP) (1 p.m. - 3 p.m.)
Join us at the Museum as we learn about some of Mississippi's coolest nocturnal animals! Through fun games and activities, we'll discover how these animals navigate, find food, and avoid predators in complete darkness.
This special workshop is designed for Brownie and Daisy Scouts and awards the "Up All Night" patch upon completion.
Cost: The workshop is $20 per Scout (including patch). Parents and siblings are regular admission to be paid at the door. - NOVEMBER 5: AMBASSADOR WATER WORKSHOP (1 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
