This workshop is perfect for families who want to explore nature together and teachers looking for engaging classroom resources.
COST: $30 non-refundable registration fee for each participant. Teachers may apply for 0.5 CEUs from Mississippi College and pay $15 cash or check due to Mississippi College on the day of the workshop.
DESCRIPTION: Buzz into nature with us and discover the fascinating world of native bees!
Our workshop begins with a guided hike through local habitats, where we'll observe and learn about the diverse bee species in our area.
Afterward, we'll capture their beauty in a creative painting session.
Teachers are invited to stay for an additional training session featuring engaging bee-related activities designed for classroom use.
NOTE: Please bring your lunch and a reusable water bottle. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather as we will be outside for some activities.
