• Museum admission fee for the birthday child and two adults
• Museum admission fee for each attending child plus one free adult; additional adults pay the regular admission fee

Party Times: Available party times are Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Time slots are for one hour with set-up 30 minutes before the party.

Setup:

• Classroom Set-up 10:00 a.m. / Party 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Classroom Set-up 1:00 p.m. / Party 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Make a splash on your child’s special day with a Mermaid Party at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science!

Dive into an unforgettable celebration where imagination meets underwater wonder. 

Your guests will be mesmerized as a real-life mermaid (a skilled diver in full mermaid costume) glides through our aquarium, interacting with the audience from inside the tank. 

Watch little faces light up as the mermaid waves, twirls, and brings the magic of the ocean to life right before their eyes!

After the underwater adventure, the celebration continues in one of our private education classrooms, reserved just for your party. It’s the perfect space for opening presents, enjoying birthday treats, and celebrating with friends surrounded by the excitement of the museum.
