The Fisheries Bureau maintains record freshwater fish catches in three categories. The Rod and Reel category is for fish caught on traditional rod and reel fishing equipment, the Fly Fishing category is for fish landed with fly fishing equipment and the Trophy fish category is for fish caught by all other legal sport fishing methods.
