Celebrate National Hiking Day with a guided hike through the beautiful trails of Lake Lowndes State Park!
Enjoy a 5-mile guided hike as you explore the park's diverse plant life, native birds, and wildlife while learning more about the natural beauty that makes Lake Lowndes a favorite outdoor destination.
Meeting Location:
The hike begins at the Equestrian Trail gravel parking lot, located just past the Gatehouse on the left. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow hikers and enjoy the outdoors together.
What to Bring:
* Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
* Water and a snack
* Bug spray
* Your pet (optional—must be leashed and have water)
This family-friendly event is open to all ages and is a wonderful way to get outside, enjoy fresh air, and connect with nature.
