Join John Gruchy, private lands program coordinator, as he discusses how MDWFP has been working with landowners and hunters to collect data and manage the state’s deer herd for many years.
More recently, efforts have focused on working with landowners to manage habitat as well. Common deer management opportunities and mistakes will be discussed.
BIO: John Gruchy is the Coordinator of the Private Lands Program for the MDWFP. John has been with the agency since 2007.
He has degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Mississippi State and the University of Tennessee.
