Percy Quin State Park A250

Step right up to celebrate our nation's 250th birthday this summer at Percy Quin State Park during our A250 Independence Celebration! From carnival rides and inflatables to live music, vendors, patriotic ceremonies, and a fireworks finale over the lake, this two-day event brings the excitement of a classic American carnival to the heart of Southwest Mississippi.

Bring the whole family and enjoy carnival rides, great food, festive entertainment, and nonstop fun all weekend long.

July 3 | Carnival Fun ($5.00 Admission Per Person / $15.00 Carnival Wristband available separately)
Children ages 5 and under are admitted free (Park Only).

3:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Carnival Area (Overflow Parking Lot)

• The carnival area will feature rides, inflatables, games, and family-friendly activities.
• A $15 carnival Wristband is required to participate in carnival rides, inflatables, games, and related attractions.
• The carnival Wristband fee is separate from the standard park entry fee.
• There is no additional fee for inflatables beyond the carnival Wristband.

3:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Food & Treat Vendors, Craft Vendors (Camp Beaver Drive)

• Food vendors, craft vendors, patriotic merchandise vendors, and commemorative item vendors will be available throughout the event.
• Food, beverages, and vendor items will require additional purchases.

July 4 | Full Day Celebration ($5.00 Admission Per Person / $15.00 Carnival Wristband available separately)
Children ages 5 and under are admitted free (Park Only).

10:00 AM – 8:00 PM: Carnival Area (Overflow Parking Lot)

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Patriotic Ceremony (Grass Area Near Boat Ramp)

• Included with park admission.

The A250 Flag Ceremony and patriotic presentation will be conducted by MDWFP Honor Guard and MDWFP Law Enforcement personnel.

9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Fireworks Finale (Lake)

• Included with park admission.

Lawn chairs are welcomed. No coolers, no tents, and no umbrellas allowed in designated event areas. 

Clear Bag Policy

• A clear bag policy will be enforced within designated event areas.

• Typical event security procedures may include bag inspections, restricted item screening, controlled entry points, and compliance with posted event signage and staff instructions.
• Additional details regarding approved bag sizes and entry procedures will be released closer to the event.
