Species | Detail |
---|---|
Bass | Bass fishing has been slow at Bee Lake. Bass should be moving into their summer patterns. Look for fish to be shallow early in the morning. Top-waters and bluegill presentations could be effective in shallow water near docks and cover. As the day moves on fish will associate with cover and structure in more moderate depths. Crank baits, spinner baits, and Texas rigged soft plastics could be good choices to find fish. |
Crappie | Crappie fishing has started to slow as of late. Fish should be moving towards the deeper areas of the lake. Try targeting deeper cover and structure on the north side of the lake. Both minnows and jigs would be good choices for bait. |
Bream | Bream bite has started to pick up. Try targeting shallow cover and vegetation with crickets and worms. |
Catfish | Catfish should be in shallow to medium depths. Try tight lining liver, nightcrawlers, or cut bait near structure. |
