Fishing Report - Updated 05/05/2026

Bass

Largemouth bass fishing has been slow recently. Anglers are still finding some success using crankbaits and watermelon-colored soft plastics, which seem to be the most productive choices right now.

Heavy rainfall over the past few days has had a noticeable impact changing the watercolor and temperature, slowing the bite down this week.

Crappie Crappie fishing has been slow. Try fishing jigs in 3 to 10 feet of water.
BreamBream fishing has been fair. Anglers report that crickets and waxworms work best for bluegill, and redworms for redear.
Catfish Catfishing has been poor. Try tightlinning chicken livers or cutbait near shallow water.

Water Visibility: 48 inches

 Water Temperature: 70 °F
