Why is the license system not letting me create an account?

If you previously had an account in our legacy license system, you could have duplicate records causing a delay in setting up your account in our current system. The easiest way to resolve this is by calling our Jackson office at 601-432-2055.

Why is my mobile app not working?

With the launch of our new license system in 2025, we also launched a brand new mobile app which houses all of our key features in one place! The old MDWFP app and WMA Check-In app are no longer operational, please download the new MDWFP HuntFish Mobile App

How do I submit Game Check?

You can submit Game Check reporting through our new MDWFP License Portal or our MDWFP HuntFish Mobile App. Find out more information by clicking here.

 

How do I submit my WMA Check In?

We have launched a brand new, all-in-one, MDWFP Mobile App which merges the previous WMA Check-In App with all the essential tools of the MDWFP Mobile App.

Can I set my licenses to auto renew each year?

How can I retrieve my Hunter Education number?

If you are having trouble remembering your Hunter Education number, you can find your number, download a free temporary card, or purchase a replacement card on our website by clicking here.

How do I apply for Draw Hunts?

Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Draw Applications are held within our license system. Create an account and easily apply for draws along with other permits and privileges.

How do I link my child's profile to my account?

Customers have the opportunity to create and remove relationships between users within the MDWFP License Portal and the HuntFish App.

How do I access my license after purchase?

Individuals can access their licenses and boat registration information through MDWFP’s Online License System or the MDWFP HuntFish App. If on the web, select your name in the upper right-hand corner, and then “My purchases” from the drop-down menu. Here, you can view all your active and historical hunting, fishing, or boat registration purchases. In the mobile app, choose between the “Licenses & Draw Applications” or “Boat Registrations & Renewals” tiles to access your information.
