JACKSON - The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is excited to announce the winners of the first-ever Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp Art Contest. This historic competition, held to mark the launch of the state’s inaugural Wild Turkey Stamp for the 2026 spring season, drew talented entries from Mississippi artists ages 15 and up.

The Wild Turkey Stamp will provide a dedicated funding source for turkey management, habitat conservation, and research — ensuring Mississippi’s wild turkey populations thrive for generations to come. Just like the beloved state and federal duck stamps, it pairs powerful conservation efforts with the creativity of local artists.

We’re proud to showcase the entries submitted, highlighting the incredible talent and passion for conservation found across our state. Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to every artist who contributed their vision of the Eastern wild turkey in its natural Mississippi setting.
