JACKSON, MS – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) congratulates Winchester Ammunition on being named the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA-USA) Industry Partner of the Year.
The award was presented during the 2026 IHEA-USA Annual Conference in Glendale, Arizona, and recognizes Winchester's support of the Mississippi Scholastic Shooting Program (MSSP).
Employees from Winchester's Oxford facility have volunteered at MSSP competitions throughout the season, helping support youth shooting sports events across Mississippi. Winchester was nominated for the award by MDWFP Director of Conservation Programs Chris Clark in recognition of the company's commitment to Mississippi's youth shooting sports programs and the volunteer service of its employees.
The MSSP provides young people with opportunities to develop firearm safety knowledge, marksmanship skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through organized shooting sports competition.
