Upcoming Workshops
Registration for each workshop opens 6 weeks prior to the workshop date. All workshops are from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

- Fall Workshop: October 12, 2025 (Digging in the Past) - Scouting America
- Join us for a fossil-finding adventure and help your scout earn their "Digging in the Past" badge! We will explore the fossil wall, learn how ancient bones are turned into stone, and create our very own fossils!
- Winter Workshop: February 15, 2026 (Animal Observer) - Girl Scouts
- Join us for a special workshop where scouts complete all the requirements to earn their "Animal Observer" badge.
We'll spend the day exploring our museum's exhibits and grounds to learn how to spot local wildlife and understand their habitats. Scouts will practice using observation skills, learn how to responsibly watch animals in the wild, and discover the importance of protecting the animals that live around us.

- Join us for a exciting day where scout will complete all the requirements to earn their “ Outdoor Adventurer” badge.
We will be explore nature on the Museum’s nature trails, learn essential outdoor skills, and play lots of fun games.
