The University of Mississippi ("Ole Miss") is just a 25-minute drive away, making Wall Doxey State Park the perfect place to spend a football weekend. The Visitor's Center houses the park office, meeting rooms, and banquet rooms, which can accommodate 150 to 200 people.

The park's forty picnic sites offer tables, grills, and scenic views of Spring Lake.
Four large picnic pavilions are available by reservation up to 13 months in advance by contacting the park office. Pavilions provide the ideal setting for family reunions, company picnics, and church or school outings.
Wall Doxey State Parks offers recreational playing fields for baseball/softball, football, and other outdoor activities.
The park has three playgrounds located in the day-use area, RV campground, and cabin campground areas.
A two and half mile nature trail winds around Spring Lake, affording beautiful views of the water and of native Mississippi flora and fauna.
Wall Doxey offers two 18-hole disc golf courses, Spring Creek and Turkey Hollow. The disc golf courses are open to the public free of charge; however, the normal $2.00 entrance fee is required.
Spring Lake offers 60-acres of well-stocked fresh spring water for fishing. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 16 and 65. Licenses may be purchased at the park office for a small fee.

Wall Doxey State Park offers 64 developed camp sites, 17 wooded primitive campsites, one designated scout area, and 9 cabins. Group Camp facility that can accommodate up to 90 campers. A laundry facility is available for overnight campers.
Wall Doxey's 64 sites available for developed camping feature picnic tables, grills, and water and electrical hook-ups. Bathhouses with hot showers and a central sewage dumping station are located in the developed camping area. All campsites are reservable up to 13 months in advance and are strongly recommended.

17 wooded sites are available for tent camping. The primitive camping area has water, restrooms, and showers within walking distance.

Wall Doxey features nine air-conditioned cabins with forest or lake views. The cabins accommodate four to seven people and are equipped with bed and bath linens, a TV, and a fireplace. All cabins, except cabins 6 and 7, have screened porches, which provide a relaxing atmosphere. Reservations may be made up to 13 and are strongly recommended.
No pets are allowed in or around the cabin area.
Smoking is not allowed in any Mississippi government building (including cabins/cottages)
Group camping for up to 90 is available in seven air-conditioned cabins featuring separate counselor's quarters, a meeting room, and an outdoor amphitheater.
Campers must furnish their own linens, towels, pillows, soap, and other personal items.
