Lake Lowndes State Park
Lake Lowndes State Park provides a complete recreational facility for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy the park. Lake Lowndes is located on a beautiful 150-acre lake. The park offers unlimited opportunities for fishing and camping, softball, tennis, football, and other organized sports. Mississippi University for Women (The "W") and Mississippi State University (MSU) are just a short drive to the west, making Lake Lowndes State Park the perfect place to stay during a football weekend at MSU or while visiting either campus.

Day Use
The Park is open every day of the year. The Park Office is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. For more information on Lake Lowndes State Park, please contact the Park Office at (662) 328-2110.
- Entrance fee $2.00 per person, 5 years of age and under - free
Stay the Night
50 developed camping sites, a Scenic Wooded tent camping area, 6 Vacation Cabins, 2 Vacation Cottages, and Laundry Facilities are available for use at Lake Lowndes State Park.
Things to Do
Disc Golf, Gym, Picnic Area/Pavilions, Playground, Playing Fields, Tennis and Trails, plus Lake Lowndes offers a 150 acre of Freshwater Fishing, Boat Launch, and Water Skiing.
