HB 718. Effective July 1, 2015. Signed March 17,
2015.
This bill amends Section 99-19-77, Mississippi Code of 1972, to
provide that the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft
Bureau and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and
Parks can recoup investigation costs; to provide that an assessment
may be imposed for Class I violations that are punishable as
provided in Section 49-7-141; and for related purposes.
HB 841. Effective: July 1, 2015. Signed March 13,
2015.
This bill amends Section 49-7-31.5, Mississippi Code of 1972, to
exempt Purple Heart recipients from license requirements while
hunting nuisance animals on private land; to extend the repealer
from July 1, 2016, to July 1, 2017; and for related purposes.
HB 890. Effective: July 1, 2015. Signed March 17,
2015.
This bill authorizes the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and
Parks to sell and convey a certain parcel of state-owned property
and any improvements located thereon located in Claiborne County,
Mississippi, and being a part of the Canemount Wildlife Management
Area, and for related purposes.
