Mississippi's Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is urging anyone interested in the outdoors to support conservation by obtaining a hunting or fishing license. The purchase plays a critical role in supporting MDWFP programs specifically dedicated to habitat restoration and conservation. These initiatives have a positive impact on a broad range of wildlife, including species that are not used for consumption, thereby safeguarding the health of diverse ecosystems throughout Mississippi. MDWFP underscores the significance of these contributions for the sustainability and enhancement of the state's ecosystems today and for future generations.
